A privately practicing chiropractor for nearly 30 years, Dr. David Walls-Kaufman focuses on the interplay between posture, stress, health, and disease. Concentrating particularly on the importance of the neural core, he actively encourages posture adjustment and other chiropractic training for medical practitioners. Dr. David Walls-Kaufman believes in the direct relationship between chiropractic care and DNA repair as investigated by Dr. Ronald Pero and, in that regard, has participated in numerous efforts to promote awareness of this connection.
Dr. David Walls-Kaufman received his professional education and doctor of chiropractic at the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. An active member of the International Chiropractic Association, as well as the District of Columbia (DC) Chiropractic Association, he has held a number of leadership positions in the DC community. A former examiner for the DC Chiropractic Licensure Board and past member of the Chiropractic Advisory Committee to the DC Medical Board, he continues as a licensed practitioner in the district. Certified in human health outcomes research by the National Institute of Health, he also serves as the principal investigator in a continuing chiropractic research effort.
